Aviva Drescher made headlines this week when she accused Bravo producers of forcing Real Housewives of New York stars to drink alcohol on set. Drescher’s comments sparked reactions from fans and RHONY star alike, but was she just creating drama to get back on the show?
Drescher was a part of RHONY for two whole seasons before producers decided to let her go. It has been a while since we’ve heard anything from Drescher, but her comments about forced drinking has put her back in the spotlight.
She has not said anything about wanting back on RHONY, but some fans suspect that her end goal is to return to the show that made her famous.

According to Fan Sided, Drescher says that she was forced to take shots while filming a scene for RHONY. The former reality star claims that producers pushed her to drink vodka while shooting a scene with a co-star, even though she wanted to sub it out for water. Drescher is the first person from Bravo’s hit reality series to make these claims.
Although Drescher’s comments reflect poorly on Bravo, some of her fans want her back on the show. In fact, a few RHONY fans believe Drescher is just what the show needs to put some of the ladies in their places.
Drescher denies wanting to return to the series, but it does seem like she is enjoying the extra attention. But even if Drescher wanted back, it’s fairly unlikely that Bravo will agree to anything, especially after she blasted the network and created a full-blown scandal.

Drescher isn’t the only former RHONY star who is reportedly thinking about a comeback. Jill Zarin, who lost her husband to cancer in May, is allegedly eying a return to the show. An inside source says that Zarin is not happy with having small cameos on RHONY and wants Bravo to offer her a full-time contract.
“Jill’s grown tired of making cameo appearances on the show without being offered an actual job,” the insider dished.
Zarin last appeared on the show when she allowed camera crews to shoot her husband’s funeral. Fans were critical of Zarin’s decision to film the memorial and many thought she was using the opportunity to get in the spotlight. Zarin has not commented about the rumors surrounding her future on RHONY.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of New York air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
