The Super Bowl has been over for a couple of days now, but the savage Wendy Williams cannot stop herself from slamming this year’s Halftime performer Justin Timberlake’s show! The talk show host called JT a baby for being so affected by the backlash while also never addressing the infamous ‘nipplegate.’
Wendy is totally on Janet Jackson’s side here!
She criticized Timberlake and his reaction to the backlash he’s received since then while also making it very clear that she is upset the singer chose to take the big stage all by himself and that he never addressed ‘nipplegate.’
Allegedly, Justin Timberlake exposed Janet Jackson’s breast at the 2004 Super Bowl!
‘Sorry that your career is in the toilet at this point Justin; Sorry Justin that nobody liked your last album; Sorry Justin that you are crying like a baby. And, Sorry Justin that you have so much to say about this performance, but nothing to say about when you ripped Janet’s boob off,’ Williams started her rant.
It looked like JT would have an amazing, career-changing experience but instead, he received a lot of criticism following his Super Bowl performance.
People were not at all happy that he included a purple projection of Prince as a tribute to the late legend.
In addition, the Super Bowl audience also dragged him for being selfish and not having a special guest alongside him on stage.
Not to mention, the entire Internet made fun of the woods-like T-shirt he chose to wear.
As you may remember, at the 2004 Super Bowl, Janet Jackson took the stage.
After performing a few of her hit songs, it was time for a special duet with Justin Timberlake.
The two performed Rock Your Body and when Justin sang the line ‘I’m gonna have you naked by the end of this song,’ he pulled on Janet’s costume to reveal her nipple.
The woman seemed surprised, and then the lights went off.
There were no less than 500,000 complaints received by the FCC, and CBS was fined a whopping $550,000.
In the end, the fine ended up being thrown by a federal appeals court.
Timberlake was unscathed by the whole thing while Jackson’s career was ruined.
She was reportedly banned from the Grammys as a result of the 2004 Super Bowl performance.
Later on, Justin revealed that it was nothing more but a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ and it was not intentional.
