Opinions are split when it comes to whether Kanye West was in the right or wrong yesterday when he took to social media to call out Nick Cannon, Drake, and Tyson Beckford over Kim Kardashian. Of course, the queen of gossip, Wendy Williams, covered the event during “Hot Topics.”
While telling the audience what Kanye was saying, Wendy gave the rapper some advice on keeping his mouth closed when she addressed his mental health: “I mean Kanye, we all know you’re not well, so just get better but don’t talk because when you talk a lot of times you make no sense.”
She went on to say that the artist should realize that since he married Kim Kardashian — she will be the topic of a lot of conversations.
“He went on this wild rant yesterday, slamming three celebrities who talked about his wife. Well, I don’t know who he thinks he married? Kanye, you didn’t just marry a Kardashian, you married the queen of the dance and everyone’s going to keep talking.”
Williams also came to Nick Cannon’s defense when she explained: “To me once somebody is part of your past, there’s no problem talking about it, that’s your truth. It’s comical to think he’s like, ‘Oh don’t talk about my wife.'”
Fans have chimed in on the rapper’s epic rant.
On one hand, there are some who applaud the “I Love It” rapper for defending his wife and his family. They agree that his role as a husband is to protect his wife and those who publicly bash her.
On the other, there are those who feel that Kanye is being hypocritical considering the things he’s said about Amber Rose while she was married to Wiz Khalifa.
What do you think about Kanye’s actions? Was he wrong or right for the way he went about expressing his feelings?
