Earlier this week, Wendy Williams took several public figures to task on her show. On the 19th of December, the television talk show host slammed a few celebrities, but she also made a funny joke about her recent separation from Kevin Hunter.
During a conversation with Love and Hip-Hop‘s Stevie J, Wendy gave him a number of gifts, but Williams admitted there was one more thing she wanted to really make her Christmas holidays merry. Stevie came with a number of snacks, including a roast beef sandwich, a mink coat, in addition to diamonds.
Additionally, Stevie revealed Wendy told him she wanted a divorce more than anything. The 55-year-old went on to say, “I want something that no one can give me, a court and a pen.” As it was previously reported, Williams filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter Senior following 22 years of marriage.
Wendy Williams reportedly found out her husband had a child with his mistress, Sharina Hudson. Fans of the series know that Kevin Hunter was her former manager as well as an executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show.
After the news hit the press, Williams has discussed her relationship woes publicly on a number of occasions. There’s no denying Wendy Williams had a tough year. The star spent some time in a sober living facility for women after she found out her husband had not only cheated on her, but also had a child with another woman.
The host had to take some time off from her eponymous television show, a time where she was replaced by Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon was on the show for one month approximately. There were rumors in the industry that many of the staff members actually enjoyed working with Nick more than Wendy.
Additionally, Wendy sparked more controversy when she was spotted getting touchy-feely with Meek Mill at a party one evening. People on social media accused her of appearing “desperate” during her conversation with the rapper.
Wendy has talked about formerly incarcerated artist a few times on the show, mostly for his recent jail time and subsequent release.
