Hillary Clinton’s staff was apparently aware of the fact that Anthony Weiner was sending inappropriate texts to an underage girl in 2011 and they did nothing.
News of an investigation into Weiner’s alleged messaging with a 17-year-old girl was passed onto John Podesta, now chair of Clinton’s presidential campaign, and adviser Neera Tanden.
During that time, the former congressman was married to Clinton’s right hand, Huma Abedin.
It turn out that the 2011 case was not singular and this year Weiner was again involved in sexting with a teenager. When the news came out this year, Huma Abedin decided to leave her husband. “Police on Friday afternoon came to the home of a 17-year-old high school junior to ask her about direct online communications she has had with Rep. Anthony Weiner. Two officers from the New Castle County Police Department arrived at the girl’s home around 4:30 p.m. and asked to speak with the girl’s mother about the daughter’s contact with Weiner. Another officer appeared at the home a short time later.” This was what the 2011 email read.
Less than a week later, the disgraced Anthony Weiner was forced to resign after accidently posting a shirtless photo of himself on social media.
As if there were not enough problematic issues for the politician, nowadays he is involved in an even bigger scandal, this time involving the presidential candidate herself!
The FBI was able to reopen the investigation about Hillary’s private family server. This happened last Friday after they discovered a new batch of emails on a computer belonging to Weiner and Abedin.
Law enforcement officials declared that it was still unclear if the emails had anything to do with Clinton’s private server. According to ABC News, the presidential nominee took it upon herself to deny such ridiculous accusations during a rally in Florida on Saturday. She did not hold back at all, calling the FBI announcement “unprecedented” and “deeply troubling”
