Vicki Gunvalson has enjoyed 13 seasons on the Real Housewives of Orange County, but we recently caught a side of Gunvalson that we’ve never seen before. This week, the RHOC star shared a make-up free photo of her face in honor of People Magazine’s upcoming beautiful people campaign — and fans are officially freaking out about it.
Gunvalson shared the make-up free photo on Instagram. The OG of the OC thanked People for featuring her in their next issue and told fans that it’s what is inside that makes women beautiful. She also gave a shout out to her current boyfriend, Steve Lodge, and thanked him for always loving her, even when she doesn’t wear make-up.
Real Housewives fans immediately started freaking out after Gunvalson showed the world what she looks like without make-up. But, according to Fansided, fans freaked out in a positive way and couldn’t believe that Gunvalson looked so gorgeous without make-up. Many Instagram followers complimented Gunvalson for her natural beauty and told her that she should ditch the make-up more frequently.
Gunvalson, of course, wasn’t the only member of RHOC featured in People’s spread. Kelly Dodd and Tamra Judge also went make-up free for the magazine. Cast members from other Real Housewives locations — including New Jersey, New York, Beverly Hills, and Dallas —also posed for the outlet’s no make-up issue.
In addition to the revealing photos, Gunvalson was asked a few questions about her life outside of the reality series. The RHOC veteran revealed that she feels the most beautiful after work when she gets to remove all of her make-up and settle down with a hot bath.
If she was only allowed to put on one beauty product, Gunvalson would either choose mascara or eyelashes. She also makes sure to put on extra sunscreen whenever she goes outside and admitted that she’s a bit self-conscious about her neck.
Although the ladies of Bravo’s hit franchise are known for going under the knife, Gunvalson says that she has reached the age where she has to “own” her wrinkles.
Based on her make-up free photo, Vicki Gunvalson doesn’t have too much to worry about for quite some time.
People’s latest issue was officially released on April 18th.
