Vicki Gunvalson’s reconciliation with Tamra Judge is throwing a huge kink in the new season of the Real Housewives of Orange County. It’s no secret that the show thrives on drama, but with Gunvalson and Tamra no longer enemies, producers are worried that there won’t be enough conflict on the show to make things interesting.
An insider on the show told Radar Online that Gunvalson’s friendship with Judge has grown stronger since the Season 12 reunion. The two ladies fought a lot over the past two years but finally made amends at the end of last season.
Although everyone on the show is happy for their renewed friendship, producers are scrambling to generate enough drama to justify another season.
“Everyone who works for RHOC knows that they need drama and fights in order for that show to survive and the issue that they are having is that they really cannot fire either Vicki or Tamra because they are a staple to the show,” the source shared. “They are scouring to find a solution!”
To introduce another element of drama, producers are reportedly bringing back former RHOC star Gretchen Rossi. Judge and Rossi have been feuding ever since the latter departed the series and producers are confident that they’ll battle it out in front of the cameras.

Although Gunvalson and Rossi are now good friends, producers believe that Rossi will never let go of her hatred for Judge, which should provide plenty of drama in Season 13.
Bravo has not said anything about casting for Season 13 of RHOC. According to Bustle, there are reports that Gunvalson will not return to the show next season. The reality star allegedly told her co-stars that she’s done with the show during the last reunion. Gunvalson is reportedly walking away because she doesn’t want to deal with an entirely new cast, though none of these rumors have been confirmed.

In addition to Rossi, ET Online reports that Heather Dubrow might be returning for Season 13. The former RHOC star recently opened up about her departure and admitted that taking a break was great. She also said that she keeps in touch with most of her former co-stars and would be willing to return under the right circumstances.
Neither Vicki Gunvalson or Tamra Judge have revealed if they will be a part of Season 13 of the Real Housewives of Orange County.
