Former Veronica Mars’ actor, Brad Bufanda, died at the age of 34 this week after he jumped off a building. An LAPD spokesperson for the coroner’s office told Variety in a report that the actor died due to traumatic injuries after he lept off of a balcony.
According to TMZ, Bufanda left a suicide note which the investigators found near his body at the time of death. A representative for the deceased actor confirmed the news of his death.
However, his representative did not mention the cause of death; they merely confirmed he had passed. The spokesperson for the actor said Brad “was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being.”
Furthermore, the rep claimed Brad was “reviving” his movie career considering he had just completed two new films.
Brad’s team stated the announcement comes as a surprise and they are shocked and saddened. His family would like the public to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
According to E! Online, Brad’s original name is Fred Joseph Bufanda the Third and his mother gave birth to him in California.
His breakout role was in the cult teen series, Veronica Mars where he played a biker gang member, Felix Toombs.
That same year, Bufanda starred in the cult teen film, A Cinderella Story, alongside Hillary Duff and Chad Michael Murray.
Brad found himself on the set of other popular series including Malcolm in the Middle, CSI: Miami, and Days Of Our Lives. In September of 2017, he began filming the movie, Stan The Man, an independently financed production.
