Lala Kent is on the defensive after a drama-filled Vanderpump Rules reunion. After bragging about how her boyfriend showers her with gifts, Kent briefly compared herself to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump – who didn’t exactly appreciate the comparison.
The drama started after Andy Cohen questioned Kent about her rich boyfriend, who has been the subject of a lot of controversy this season. Kent bragged about all the things her boyfriend buys her, including purses, clothes and cars. When her Vanderpump Rules co-stars clapped back at Kent relying on her boyfriend for money, she defended herself and assured everyone that she still pays for some of her expenses.
Kent then talked about how her boyfriend pays for her $150,000 BMW and compared it to how Vanderpump frequently goes through cars. Vanderpump quickly slammed Kent for the comment, saying, “Not like Lisa, Lisa works for it and doesn’t have somebody paying for it.” She also criticized Kent for not being as good a feminist as she thinks.
Kent took the criticism in stride and went on to defend her relationship with her boyfriend, Randall Emmett. Kent has faced a lot of backlash for the romance because many fans thought Emmett was still a married man when he started dating Kent.
To help clear the air, Kent claims that Emmett had legally separated from his wife when they first hooked up. She then compared her situation with James Kennedy, who was also taken in by a rich man.
As far as Vanderpump is concerned, the reality star is also dealing with the shocking death of her brother, Mark. At the end of April, Mark was found unconscious at his home and rushed to a nearby hospital in Gloucestershire. He sadly passed away at the hospital from what police are saying was a drug overdose.
At this time, we do not know if Mark intentionally overdosed of his prescription meds. Mark was only 59 years old at the time of his death.

Vanderpump hasn’t said much about her brother’s passing, but she did release a brief statement last month. The RHOBH star admitted that Mark’s death came as a complete shock to the family and that she had spoken to him the day before he overdosed.
Lisa Vanderpump thanked everyone for their kind sentiments and is doing her best to get her family through this terrible time.
Part 3 of the Season 6 Vanderpump Rules reunion airs Monday night on Bravo.
