Vanderpump Rules stars James Kennedy and Jax Taylor almost came to blows last week after Kennedy grabbed a mic and starting rapping at SUR about Taylor’s past affair with Faith Stowers. Bringing up the past made Taylor’s girlfriend Brittany Cartwright cry, and he says he didn’t realize Cartwright was in the room.
While appearing on the Pump Rules Podcast, Kennedy said that he had a little too much to drink, but Tom Sandoval said there was more to the story.
“I heard that you were like, ‘Jax and Faith! Jax and Faith!’” Sandoval revealed.
“No! Who said that?” Kennedy asked. “If Scheana said that, then maybe I did that… maybe. But I apologized this morning. I said, ‘I’m sorry’ to Jax. He’s still very angry with me.”

Kennedy went on to say that Taylor is a nice guy, and the two have them have been on a great path. But, he just made a mistake, and it is perfect timing since they start filming season 7 in two weeks. Apparently, Kennedy thinks he has to somehow keep things spicy.
As the conversation continued, Sandoval tried to explain why Kennedy shouldn’t have thrown the Taylor and Stowers affair – that happened last summer – in his face but said that Taylor did bring it on himself since he decided to cheat on his girlfriend.
Sandoval pointed out that part of him thinks that Taylor should have never gotten anywhere near Stowers. Kennedy also added that Taylor shouldn’t have his own TV show. But Sandoval told Kennedy that he should have thought about Cartwright in the moment because talking about the affair is embarrassing for her.
Kennedy replied that he is sorry to Cartwright and added that she is an amazing person and he doesn’t want to disrespect her like he did. He says he can’t imagine being in that situation, and he was wrong.
But, Taylor isn’t exactly ready to make nice. He took to Twitter over the weekend to issue more threats towards Kennedy. When a follower said that Kennedy needed his other leg broken, Taylor replied that they shouldn’t worry, and it was coming.
During a recent appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, Taylor gave his side of what happened, and he says that Kennedy was well aware that Cartwright was in the room when he brought up Taylor and Stower’s cheating.

He explained that Cartwright went into the restaurant to see Kennedy and say “Hi,” and he literally gave her a hug. Then she walked about four feet away, and that is when he started rapping. Cartwright then started “bawling her eyes out,” and she was embarrassed in front of everyone at SUR and was escorted out.
Taylor asked how anyone could look someone in the face and then start rapping about such a subject. He then warned James Kennedy that things would be coming out about him and he wasn’t going to hold back.
Vanderpump Rules will return for season 7 later this year on Bravo.
