What was supposed to be a quiet book signing turned into a tense argument between Stassi Schroeder and Tom Sandoval. The Vanderpump Rules co-stars put Tom Schwartz right in the middle — sort of.
If you haven’t been watching the latest episodes of Vanderpump Rules, Stassi is celebrating the massive success of her first book. She decided to throw a book signing at TomTom — without the approval of Tom Sandoval who owns five percent of the establishment.
The night before the event, that had already been approved by Lisa Vanderpump and Tom Schwartz, Sandoval sent nasty rage texts to Schroeder and even showed up to the event where Stassi chewed him up and spit him out.
Although Schwartz is also a five percent owner, his best friend dissed him for not knowing enough about running a bar to approve the party.
On Tuesday’s episode, Tom Schwartz stood up for himself and agreed with both castmates and viewers that his business partner was in the wrong.
His wife, Katie Maloney, stood up for him on the show and again via Twitter.
I did not take kindly to Sandoval belittling my husband the way he did. I grew up in a restaurant and could run circles around Tom and still would never speak to him that way. It’s called respect for your business partner. And trust. Enough said.

‘Sandoval doesn’t over see valet and scheduling or anything pertaining to what would make or break an event happen or not at Tom Tom. Not going to sit idly by and let this whole “protocol” thing be an actual thing. The event was a smashing success!!!’
Katie added: ‘I did not take kindly to Sandoval belittling my husband the way he did. I grew up in a restaurant and could run circles around Tom and still would never speak to him that way. It’s called respect for your business partner. And trust. Enough said.’
Fans took Katie and Tom Schwartz’s side in the battle after Sandoval tried to explain what happened behind-the-scenes.
Who do you think was in the wrong for this particular incident?
