Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz, as well as Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, visited Tokyo this week. And, according to their Instagram photos, the trip has been the perfect mix of Zen and fun.
Their international getaway included walking around the Japanese capital and taking in the beautiful sights and local food. And, they also visited a popular nightspot where they tried a cocktail called a “brain hemorrhage.”
“I’m writing my will before I get this drink,” wrote Sandoval on his Instagram Stories.
Before they traveled to Tokyo, Sandoval treated his lady to the Bruno Mars 24K Magic Tour in Los Angeles in late October. The TomTom co-owner made sure to get tickets for the Wake Up In the Sky singer’s show because Madix is such a big fan.
Their Instagram pics and videos showed fans an epic date night. In one clip, Madix looked elated as she sang along to Chunky while swaying to the beat, and Sandoval kissed her on the cheek.
In the caption, Madix wrote “I love Bruno Mars, and I love Tom even more for taking me to the show! The entire band is spectacular.”
Madix also posted a pic of Mars on stage, and he looked like he was super close to where the couple was standing.
The Vanderpump Rules cast is just days away from the premiere of Season 7, and Vogue magazine recently featured the men and women of the show. Vogue shared details of their 48-hour interview with the SURvers, including Maloney-Schwartz’s admission that the friendships on the show are solid because of the traumatic things they have gone through together.
She explained that being on the show forces everyone to talk about those things, and that gives them the opportunity to look at situations from every angle, defend yourself, and be accountable.
Sandoval also talked about the trolls he faces online and claimed that the “new mothers and the overly religious” are the worst because they call him a “f*g in denial.”
Before the start of Vanderpump Rules, most of the cast was working full-time at SUR – either waiting tables, hosting, or bartending. But, because of the popularity of the show, the cast only moonlights at SUR and Pump Lounge, and they “greet fans and run a few drinks.” And, of course, Sandoval and Schwartz are now minority owners of TomTom.
Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules premieres December 3rd on Bravo.
