Tyrese Gibson Under Investigation – His Ex-Wife Filed A Restraining Order

Tyrese Gibson is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. Last month, his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell Gibson, filed documents in court claiming that Tyrese pinned his 10-year-old daughter on the ground and beat the girl with her other arm.
BET reported that on the 19th of August, Norma stated Tyrese “went into a rage, pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.”
According to the ex-wife of the Fast and The Furious star, Tyrese accused the young girl of “stealing her own money” from a piggy-bank that belonged to her. However, these allegations appear to be nonsensical, so there must be another side to the story.
The judge granted Norma Gibson and her daughter the restraining order which stops Tyrese from directly or indirectly contacting his ex-wife or child. In an Instagram post, Tyrese defended himself with a long message which you can see below:
TMZ stated their respective attorneys-at-law were in court today battling it out for physical and legal custody. Norma is seeking full possession of their ten-year-old daughter.
The report alleged that Norma “is worried Tyrese will take their daughter to Dubai.” The paper states Gibson has “business ties” in the country, and she’s afraid he won’t come back. She also wants him to take “domestic violence courses.”
The lawyer representing Norma stated the DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services) started an investigation into Tyrese’s behavior. However, it’s not “uncommon for the DCFS” to launch an inquiry just as a “precautionary measure.”
The actor’s lawyer, Terry Levich Ross, spoke out to TMZ, saying, “she’s a lying piece of s***. Tyrese is devastated.” Gibson’s attorney claims he is “dedicated” to clearing his client’s name.
