Halloween is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate everybody’s favorite holiday than with a couple of good, spooky movies.
Or maybe you’re more of an action, fast-paced movie lover that prefers gunshots and explosions over jump scares even during the Halloween season.
Either way you’re going to be satisfied as both Tyler Perry’s horror-comedy “Boo! A Madea Halloween” and Tom Cruise’s action packed “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” are coming out this weekend and they seem just as popular with the critics as well as the movie goers.
The two films that seem to be very well received are sure to smash the box- office.
Perry’s Madea is the seventh film of the series, the last one released before this one was Christmas themed and was unfortunately the second lowest grossing of the franchise, second only to the first film.
However the movies were still moderately successful and brought in a lot of money considering the low budget with which they were produced. Besides, the box office specialists expect Perry’s Halloween themed movie to be successful and to easily bring audiences to the movie theater because of its release time right before Halloween when most people tend to choose horror as their go-to.
An indicator of the possible success of the film is said to be the fact that last year during this time, the biggest film at the box office was “Goosebumps”, another horror-comedy.
The competion is strong, however. Tom Cruise continues to be one of Hollywood’s best action actors as he always brings in tens of millions of dollars with every movie in which he acts and “John Reacher: Never Go Back” is sure to do the same, according to box office analysts.
The two movies coming out this weekend are sure to entertain their audiences and not disappoint.
