New information reveals that Thompson may be paying a large sum of money to his former girlfriend and mother of his firstborn child, Craig, so she would remain single during the time he was involved with Khloe Kardashian.
Rumor has it that the famous basketball player gave Craig $112, 000 back in 2017 so she could have the means to pay for her new home in Los Angeles with the restriction that she does not date anyone even if he was free to be with other women.
Court documents, coming from the deposition to Craig’s suit against Thompson for child support, reportedly stated that the model described the money she was paid by the NBA star as a bribe.
In addition, during the deposition, Craig claimed she accepted the money because of her son, Prince, who was born after Thompson was already officially in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian for four months.
Thompson retorted to his ex-girlfriend’s attacks by claiming that nobody ever said anything about not dating other people and stated that he only wanted to avoid Craig bringing random men around his son.
Furthermore, Craig also claimed she needed financial aid from Thompson, so she could pay the mortgage of her home in L.A.
However, Thompson’s attorney defended his client by bringing up the point that Craig used $20,000 for the purchase of a swimming pool for Prince and that she only wanted the money to spend on luxurious things.
Craig explained she bought the pool only after it was discussed with Thompson, and he had given his permission for it in the past.
