It seems that Travis Scott is still mingled in the legal proceedings that are related to the injury of a fan. This took place last year during a concert. Here are more details on what happened.
The location in which one of Travis’ fans was left paralyzed claims that the artist breached their deal last year by failing to take out insurance for that event.
Hot New HipHop reports that Bowery Presents LLC, is the company that owns the New York music venue Terminal 5.
This is the location where the incident took place. The company reportedly filed a lawsuit against Travis about ten days ago.
They claimed that he failed to get insurance for one of his shows despite the arrangement that was previously settled.
The horrible thing is that the event, unfortunately, ended with a fan falling off a balcony and becoming paralyzed.
The venue said that Travis is responsible for any damages.
The outlet also reports that ‘Kyle Green, the fan in question, sued Travis Scott claiming his performance incited chaos, which led to Green being shoved over the balcony by fanatics. He also claims he was improperly removed from the venue after the fall, carelessness that contributed to his needing a wheelchair for mobility.’
The magazine continued and explained that Travis countersued The Bowery and Strike Force Protective Services for negligence.
He reportedly also said that the fan is responsible for his injuries because he should have understood the risks that he is exposing himself at while attending Travis’ concert. The case is not closed yet, and we’ll keep you posted.
