If you’re a fan of Travis Scott you may have gotten lucky today. The rapper celebrated his new number one album by giving away cold hard cash via cash app.
“Astroworld” is Travis’s latest project that his fan base has been waiting for for over two years. The collective is at the top of the charts and Scott is planning a history making-tour to go along with it.
The rapper has all kinds of tricks up his sleeve starting with speculations about him turning the concert into an amusement park and releasing multiple visuals to go along with the music.
Travis took to Twitter to give fans a special treat.
“SO I KNOW ITS HARD FOR THE KIDS SO I DECIDED TO UNLOAD MY BANK ACCOUNT ON U GUYS. IM BUSTING DOWN $100,000 AND GIVING AWAY TO ANY FANS THAT CAN TWEET ME THERE CASH TAG WITH LYRICS FROM ASTRO. GANG !!”
The best thing about the surprise is that he actually followed through with it.

Soon after, fans began tweeting up a storm with “Astroworld” lyrics and followed it up with a screenshot of their cash app that received $50.
“Astroworld” took the number one spot from the rapper’s very popular friend, Drake, who is ironically featured on the album in one of the most popular songs.
It was well received by critics.
Pitchfork writes: “Travis Scott’s third album is inarguably his strongest to date. His skill as a curator helps sculpt a sticky, humid, psychedelic world with dazzling production and odd pleasures at every turn. The album takes its name from a since-shuttered amusement park in his hometown of Houston and often resembles a humid day spent at a carnival: sticky, sweet, bustling with activity, and packed with cheap thrills that still feel a tad overpriced.”
Have you listened to “Astroworld?” Were you lucky enough to have money sent to you from Scott himself?
