Toni Braxton Shares Emotional Video To Mark Son’s Denim’s Birthday And Made Some Fans Cry

Denim Braxton Lewis is not a baby anymore, and mama Toni Braxton like all moms is having a hard time accepting the fact that her child is all grown up.
The living legend took to social media where she posted the sweetest video of Denim on his 17th birthday. In the heart-melting video, Denim was only nine months old, and he was crying.
Tamar Braxton’s sister could be seen lovingly caressing and comforting the baby, so he could stop crying. As she was giving her son some TLC, Toni said it pains her to hear her baby cry. Toni confessed that she wanted to cry. Toni is also mom to Diezel.
The tender mother/son moment had fans in tears, and they praised the talented singer for being such a wonderful mom.
Toni Braxton learned firsthand how “the Red Table makes you emotional” during Monday’s new episode of Red Table Talk.
Toni recently sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith and her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, on an episode of Red Table where she spoke about her divorce. Toni and her husband of 12 years, Keri Lewis, split in 2013.
Toni stated: “My husband became my boyfriend, and we were attempting to salvage the relationship again, we were hopeful. We dated for a good year and a half, almost two years after we got a divorce. I know it sounds crazy, right?”
She said she tried to save the romance and added: “I thought we were going to get back together and we were clever, we’d wait for the kids to go to sleep and he would leave. I felt shallow because my ex-husband and I broke up for money issues. I found out I had lupus at the time; I couldn’t make money because I had lupus, I had to cancel the show. That was my personal contribution to the marriage failing, because who wants to take care of a person who’s sick all the time?”
Toni shared: “I remember a few times being in the hospital ill and he would come later in the day, and I would think, he’s not coming because I’m sick. I never talked to my ex-husband about it, I probably should have, but if I’m going to be completely honest, money was just the decoration on the tree. The tree itself was I felt because I was sick, he left.”
She concluded by: “I always felt like if I didn’t get sick and I could have continued to work, we wouldn’t have had that deficit, it wouldn’t have shown its face and we would probably have still been together.”
Toni is now engaged to rapper Birdman.
