Megyn Kelly is fearless when it comes to protecting survivors of abuse. The former Fox News host has always been supportive of women who have faced sexual harassment in the workplace, and she isn’t sure disgraced Today co-host Matt Lauer will ever recover from his sexual misconduct scandal — despite his best efforts.
The Megyn Kelly Today host was recently asked if Lauer could someday redeem himself and make a comeback on television. Although Kelly refused to comment, she did tease that there may be more to Lauer’s scandal than the media let on.

“I know too much that others don’t know,” Kelly shared.
Kelly has never been shy about getting to the bottom of things. In the wake of Lauer’s massive scandal, Kelly interviewed his former production assistant, Addie Zinone. According to Us Magazine, the two talked about Lauer’s inappropriate behavior and how Zinone had a sexual encounter with Lauer at the age of 24.
When asked if NBC gave her flack about brining Zinone on the show, Kelly refused to comment. She did, however, admit that she has never been worried about covering the #MeToo movement and will never allow anyone to stop her from doing it.
Although Kelly doesn’t think Lauer will ever redeem himself in the public eye, she does believe certain people can comeback after getting busted for sexual harassment. The only requirement, as far as Kelly is concerned, is that the person needs to issue a heartfelt apology and writing one in a statement does not count.

Lauer has not commented on anything related to his sexual harassment scandal and has kept a pretty low profile this past year.
For Megyn Kelly’s part, she has not communicated with her former co-host since he was fired. And it sounds like she’s planning on keeping it that way.
