While having a guest appearance in the Weekend Update section from “Saturday Night Live”, Tina Fey teased Jimmy Fallon for his easy interview with the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. The two actors appeared together in playing two undecided women voters from Philadelphia.
The Weekend Update host Colin Jost said on his slice of the show that undecided female voters in swing states present a great possibility to be the deciding factors in the upcoming election. This happens after a leaked audio recording of Trump making some completely inappropriate comments on women back in 2015 came up on Friday.
Being dressed like Denise McDonough and Doreen Troilo, two suburban Pennsylvania mothers, Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon were welcomed with raucous applause. After presenting Jost, the host asked how did the characters feel while playing the most wanted voters in this election. Fey declared that it’s fun and Fallon approved, saying that he loved it.

Jost asked the two who are they going to vote for, to which they both agreed that the two main options are bad. While Troilo, the character played by Fallon, said that they’re both bad, McDonough, played by Fey, didn’t miss the chance to tease Jimmy Fallon about the interview with Trump he had on the Tonight Show.
Fey said “Everyone knows you love Trump”, to which Fallon denied. She then proceeded to tease him, telling him to “stop acting like you do. Everyone thinks you love Trump because you’re always like “oh, his hair is real!”. While she made those comments, she pretended to be fluffing Fallon’s hair, which was a transparent allusion to the interview where Fallon fluffed Trump’s hair.
However, Tina Fey wasn’t the only one to express her criticism about the soft questions he asked the candidate on The Tonight Show.
