Tiffany Haddish made a big mistake. In her book, The Last Black Unicorn, Haddish claimed that her ex-husband, William Stewart, beat her nearly every day, a claim which he has obviously denied. However, rather than letting it go, Stewart is deciding to take her to court.
In an attempt to salvage his reputation, Stewart intends to amend past wrongs. Previously, Tiffany’s ex-beau stated that he understood that it probably wasn’t Haddish who was guilty of fluffing up the stories.
William admitted it was probably the fault of the presiding editors. However, he’s no longer willing to deal with the lies, considering he’s not even getting paid for it.
One source close to the situation told us, “Will is getting sick of people accusing him of being a wife-beater. It’s really unfair. His reputation has almost been ruined completely.”
In Haddish’s book, she claimed that her husband of the time repeatedly beat her. The book depicted him as a “monster.” And while she never said his name, it’s very obvious she was referring to him, because he was the only man she ever married.

As it was previously reported, Tiffany claimed in her memoir that Will choked, kidnapped, and stalked her throughout their marriage which lasted five years. However, William says they got a divorce merely because he didn’t want to be around her newfound Hollywood lifestyle.
To make matters worse, Haddish alleges that Stewart’s regular vicious beatings led her to get a miscarriage. Stewart, who is an army veteran, and a decorated one at that, said Tiffany willingly had the abortion. She never had a miscarriage, and he has never “hit a woman” in his entire life.
Stewart wants $1,000,000 in damages for libel, defamation, and slander. Tucker Mack, Simon and Schuster, and Tiffany were all named in the suit. Tiffany has not responded publicly yet.
