Tia Mowry is still practicing isolation in her California mansion with her family.
She has been doing her best to keep things happy and fun. Still, sometimes the current events get a bit heavy with all that is going on in the world, including the coronavirus and the social unrest due to racism and police brutality.
The Sister Sister star recently posted a picture in a cute outfit and used a quote from former President Barack Obama to uplift spirits.
Tia wrote: “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek- Barack Obama 🙏🏽 #change #itstime.”
She later added: “Taking a breath. It’s needed. It’s really needed. My emotions have been so up and down this year. One minute I feel like I can handle things, and the next, I’m overwhelmed with #anxiety and #fear and #sadness about what’s going on in our world. But then, I take a moment and take a deep breath and literally mediate on the #positives. I say all this to say, please take care of your #mentalhealth during these trying times. It’s important. 🙏🏽 #meditation #breath”
A follower stated: “I just got done watching your life 😭😭😭your words really meant a lot to me I’m going through depression bad, and I’ve had a rough couple of days you have no idea how much the live is helping me thank you soo much @tiamowry miss you on sister sister ❤️your fan, Sarah.”

I am STRONG, I am BOLD, and I am STEADFAST. Thanks so much @shanidarden for inviting me to be a part of this wonderful challenge. We are BLACK WOMEN… we too have a voice. We don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN. We have felt the pain of NOT BEING HEARD and we have decided we will be deliberate about living in our purpose and helping other women do so, also. All to often, we find it easier to criticize each other, instead of empowering each other. With all the negativity going around, lets do something positive. Upload one picture of yourself… ONLY YOU. Then tag your sisters to do the same. Lets celebrate ourselves and each other. #blackwomenchallenge 🙏🏽
This person chimed in: “I love you. Thank you for being so transparent during all of this. I grew up watching you, and it’s calming to hear your voice and see your family so healthy and strong. I used to love Sister, Sister, and how Family-focused it was. Thank you for opening your home to us! 💕 I just wanted to let you know WE, your real fans, LOVE, and appreciate you.”
Another social media user claimed: “Come through, Tia… I love the pop of color, and that turban is everything to me. If you don’t mind, could you share the details of where you purchased this turban? 💜💜💜”
This backer pointed out: “Good morning! I hope this doesn’t get overlooked, Lord God, please touch that person who’s in a dark place and feel like giving up, who’s depressed and hopeless. Let them know they may bend but won’t break! I’m a black man ✊🏾praying and fighting with you. Add me for uplifting videos 💙🙏🏾… you’re wearing that head wrap, and that lip color is fire.🔥🔥😘”
Those words are inspiring her supporters.
