Thomas Markle Will Never Meet Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Baby Claims Royal Insider
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are just weeks away from becoming parents for the first time. But, according to one royal expert, Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle , will never see his new grandbaby.
In the new TLC documentary Meghan & Harry: A Royal Baby Story, royal expert Duncan Larcombe - author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story - says that the chances of Thomas meeting Meghan’s first child are zero.
“I can’t think for a moment that Thomas Markle will ever be able to meet his grandson or granddaughter,” said Larcombe.
Meghan’s estranged half-sister Samantha also appears in the doc, and she says that Meghan has “hurt the family” because she has not made them a part of her new royal life. She criticized the Duchess of Sussex for flipping the script and playing the victim.
The former Suits actress has not spoken to Thomas, a former Hollywood lighting director, since the paparazzi scandal broke just days before her May 2018 wedding. Thomas sold staged pics to the paparazzi, then he allegedly had a heart attack and backed out of walking his daughter down the aisle.
After Meghan and Harry’s wedding, Thomas gave several media interviews where he claimed that he couldn’t get in contact with his daughter. But, after a few of Meghan’s close friends told People Magazine the real story, Thomas went public with an emotional letter Meghan wrote to him.
“Your actions have broken my heart into a million pieces — not simply because you have manufactured such unnecessary and unwarranted pain, but by making the choice to not tell the truth as you are puppeteered in this. Something I will never understand,” said Meghan in a handwritten five-page letter.
She also wrote that she didn’t understand why Thomas continued to turn a blind eye to the pain he caused. And, Meghan added that if her dad loved her, then he would stop and let her and her new husband live their lives in peace.
Meghan wrapped up the letter by asking her dad to stop reading the tabloids, and she accused his “other daughter” (Samantha) - who she barely knows - of manufacturing stories
As for the TLC baby special, Fox News reports that it will focus on how Meghan and Harry’s new baby will affect the monarchy, and it will feature interviews with royal experts like Grant Harrold, Prince Charles’ former butler, Ken Wharfe, former royal protection officer, and historian Kate Williams.
Meghan & Harry: A Royal Baby Story airs Tuesday, April 9th on TLC.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not commented on her relationship with her father.
