Kurt Sutter's Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans MC surprised fans with a number of exciting cameos in Season 1. Although Sutter brought back some important characters, there are still quite a few SOA fan favorites who could appear on Mayans MC next season.

Here are 7 Sons of Anarchy characters who might return on Mayans MC .
1. Nero
At the end of Sons of Anarchy , Nero Padilla (Jimmy Smits) made enough cash to get out of the criminal world and buy his dream farm. Although Nero escaped with Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) sons, his connections to the Mayans could bring him back for a guest appearance.

2. Tyne Patterson

Tyne (CCH Pounder) was most active in Season 6 of Sons of Anarchy when she tried to slap SAMCRO with a RICO case. She survived the end of the series and knows the truth about what happened between Gemma and Tara.

3. Ernest Darby

Ernest Darby (Mitch Pileggi) had a complicated history with SAMCRO but appeared to have gotten out of the game by the show's end. But given his history with the club, it is unlikely that his criminal days are truly over.

4. Romeo Parada

Romeo Parada (Danny Trejo) worked on behalf of the Galindo Cartel in Sons of Anarchy . The cartel has already played an important role on Mayans MC, setting Romeo up for an easy cameo down the road.

5. Luis Torres

With Romeo set to make a cameo next season, it only makes sense that his cartel partner, Luis (Benito Martinez), shows up alongside him.

6. Tig Trager

Tig (Kim Coates) was involved in some crazy storylines on Sons of Anarchy , and it would be great to see Sutter bring back Clay Morrow's former Sergeant-in-Arms for an episode or two.

7. Chibs Telford

Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) was one of Jax's closest confidants in the original show. At the end of Sons of Anarchy , Chibs became the president of SAMCRO, which could be an easy way to bring him back in the spin-off.

Mayans MC will return for Season 2 in 2019.
