‘The Squid Game’ Director Reveals Season 2 Plot Details
Hwang Dong-Hyuk Names Characters Who Will Definitely Appear in Sequel.
South Korean director and creator of the TV series “Squid Game” Hwang Dong-hyuk shared the details of the plot of the second season of the popular project.
Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed which of the characters from the first season should be expected in the second. According to him, the main character of the series, Song Ki Hoon (player #456), will appear in the continuation of the project.
In addition to him, in the second season, we should expect the appearance of the main villain of the series, the Steward, whose identity was revealed in the final episode of the first season (actor Lee Byung-Heon played this character).
“Of course, Ki Hoon. And I really hope that the Steward will return,” said the director.
It became known that the second season of the popular series will be released by the end of 2024.
In addition, Hwang Dong-Hyuk revealed that he is working on a new film titled “Killing Old People Club.”
The director promised that the new picture would be more violent than “The Squid Game.” The script, according to Hwang, was based on one of the novels of the Italian philosopher Umberto Eco.
