Just three days before the royal wedding on the 19th of May, Samantha Grant, Meghan Markle’s half-sister, is once again, using her newfound media platform to attack her family member. Grant passive-aggressively said there exists something in the United States called “the freedom of speech.”
Samantha claimed the media is unfairly attacking her and her family, making them look bad, and it’s simply a matter of self-defense. “it’s a matter of self-defense because the media is disparaging us,” the star explained.
The 53-year-old said, “I’m not going to take it,” to reporters from TMZ. However, one source who spoke with us explained, “what Samantha doesn’t realize is that she shouldn’t take any of the claims seriously, because, in a month, no one will even remember the royal wedding.”
Grant added that Meghan is not allowed to suggest she not say anything on the matter, because as an American citizen, she has a right to say what she wants.
“I’m a US citizen, and that’s all there is to it,” Samantha exclaimed. Grant went on to state: Meghan is “way out of her league” to suggest she not say anything.
In the past, Samantha confirmed she and Meghan have a “strained” relationship, but despite their lack of amicability, she still bought a present for her anyway.
However, unfortunately for Samantha, Meghan and the Prince didn’t invite her, so she might just have to send it. The half-sister of the Suits star said she can’t reveal what she bought either because “then it wouldn’t be a secret.”
The royal wedding has become an interesting affair, as Meghan’s father, who was supposed to walk her down the aisle, was allegedly caught staging photographs with the paparazzi, in an attempt to make himself and the rest of the family look good.
After the media exposed him, Thomas said he had to undergo heart surgery on the 16th of May in Mexico. Throughout all of the drama, Meghan reportedly has looked to her soon-to-be-husband, Prine Harry. An insider explained that she looks to Harry to be her “rock.”
