Back in 2013, Taylor Swift claimed that David Mueller touched her bare butt during a meet and greet in Denver, Colorado, and last year a court found him guilty of assault and battery. But, Mueller vehemently denies Swift’s claims and says the Shake It Off singer ruined his life.
If Mueller had the chance to talk to Swift, he says he would ask her how she could live with herself.
“How can you live with yourself? You ruined my life,” Mueller told Radar Online. “I was not ready for the photograph. I admit it was awkward, but I never grabbed her. It’s not even close to what happened.”

After his five-day trial last August, the disgraced radio host says his life post-trial has been like a prison. He says he is afraid to go near women, much less talk to them. And, he claims he isn’t himself anymore.
The DJ landed a new gig at a Mississippi radio station in January, but he says people still joke about the trial, and he doesn’t think he deserves that. The jokes and accusations upset him because he says he was always a gentleman who would tell people to watch their language when a woman was present.
Mueller says he knew he would lose in court, but he doesn’t regret suing Swift. He explained that he would not have been able to live with himself if he didn’t do it, and even though his life is screwed up at least he is proud of himself.
Swift’s kicked off her Reputation tour in May, but Mueller’s career has suffered significantly. However, he doesn’t wish the singer any harm. He says he is “just a regular guy” who will continue his career in radio because it is the one thing that makes him happy – even though he doesn’t have a lot of listeners.
Meanwhile, Swift recently broke her long press silence to do a photo shoot and interview for Harper’s Bazaar with Pattie Boyd – the muse and ex-wife of both Eric Clapton and George Harrison. Boyd inspired the songs Wonderful Tonight and Something.
Swift wore London-inspired fashion for the extensive photo shoot, and she and Boyd wore matching black outfits in one pic. The interview focuses on Boyd’s fascinating history, and it also touches on some similarities between the two women when it comes to dealing with fame and artistic inspiration.

Similar to Clapton’s inspiration for Wonderful Tonight – which he wrote while waiting for Boyd to get dressed for a party – Swift says she has had moments when an idea lands in front of her face, and she reaches up and grabs it. She says there are “mystical, magical moments” that you can’t explain when a fully-formed idea just “pops into your head.”
Swift says that is the purest part of her job, and songwriting is the same process it was when she was 12 years old and in her room writing songs.
Taylor Swift is currently on her Reputation tour and just launched the second North American leg.
