The Challenge: Final Reckoning came to a dramatic conclusion in what might be the most shocking finale in the show’s history.
The winning team usually splits the grand prize right down the middle, but this year, one of the teammates on the winning squad kept the $1 million prize all to herself – and she totally deserved it.
The season finale of The Challenge: Final Reckoning came down to the wire as the final four teams battled it out for first place. The teams – Paulie and Natalie, Cara and Cara Marie, Hunter and Ashley, and Sylvia and Joss – were so close that the top three finished within two minutes of each other.
So the "Final Reckoning" didn't have a location change & only included running, slight heights, eating, standing, and like 3 feet of hot coals? Couldn't even pull out a puzzle? #theChallenge32 pic.twitter.com/G6Cub6BtR2

After a walk through hot coals, Cara and Marie came in fourth, followed by Paulie and Natalie. Sylvia and Joss came in second, leaving Hunter and Ashley as this season’s victorious team. But the drama really started after the race was over.
Host T.J. Lavin told Ashley that she received more points than Hunter, which meant she decided whether to split the money. Just like Johnny Bananas a few seasons back, Ashley took the million dollar prize all to herself.
Here goes Ashley trying to be the victim when she bullies everyone and acts a bitch, more than everyone, even to production she threatens to quit everyday. She would have taken the money no matter what. #TheChallenge32 #thechallengefinalreckoning #FinalReckoning

Hunter was furious after Ashley left him hanging, but she had good reasons for not splitting the prize.
“This guy’s belittled me, put me down, slut-shamed me and also threatened my life and my family’s lives,” she explained. “I’m keeping the money.”
Ashley’s decision devastated Hunter, who started crying and told everyone that he should have lost on purpose. He also cursed Ashley for what she did, and said karma will get her back eventually.

Hunter then denied calling Ashley a slut. Fortunately, MTV had a clip on hand that showed Hunter telling his male co-stars that Ashley was a “stupid f—king slut” that was going to lose it for him.
It’s anyone’s guess what will happen in the reunion, but we have a feeling the drama is just getting started.
The reunion for The Challenge: Final Reckoning kicks off Nov. 27 on MTV.
