Lindsay Lohan and the cast of ‘Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club’ have been in an imaginary rivalry with the stars of ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ Scheana Marie finally spoke out against the MTV series after hearing about the trash talk that’s been going on.
This whole thing started when Lohan decided to compare herself to Lisa Vanderpump.
“I’m a really big fan of Lisa Vanderpump and ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ I really admire her as a woman. She’s a very strong boss and she knows how to manage her people … so I had to kind of pull different reality shows together. This is not about my life — it’s about how I handle these people and me running and managing these places,” she explained during an interview.
Not long after, stars of ‘Beach Club’ bashed the Bravo hit.
Brent Marks said: “They work at a little, cheap restaurant in West Hollywood. Well, I mean it’s kind of expensive though, but I mean we work in Mykonos on an exotic island.” While his ‘LLBC’ co-star said that the cast of ‘VPR’ “should be so lucky” to be compared to them.
Scheana Marie finally commented to Page Six about the drama.
“My friend Kailah [Casillas] was on it and I watched her episodes, but other than that, it’s boring. It’s never going to be ‘Vanderpump Rules’ because it was cast — our show is so good because it’s organic; we’re real friends. We’ve all known each other for a decade plus.”
She added that everyone on her series thinks that ‘LLBC’ sucks.
Jax Taylor made a similar comment on Twitter about other shows trying to copy the premise of ‘VPR’ but not having a winning formula because casting never brings the same organic chemistry that filming genuine friendships has.
However, Jax’s comment was taken as shade towards Bravo’s ‘Below Deck.’
