Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe is set to be deported back to Italy after he serves the rest of his time in jail and as you can imagine, she is devastated! However, that doesn’t mean she’s given up just yet! Apparently, the RHONJ star has vowed to fight the judge’s order.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Teresa opened up about the situation, saying: ‘I just take it day by day. We’re going to fight this.’
As fans of the couple may know, the possibility of Joe being deported has been looming over his head ever since he was arrested as an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detainer was placed on him from the beginning.
Finally, the idea became a reality when, on October 10, a judge decided he’d be sent to Italy after serving his time.
While he still has the possibility to appeal the order, if nothing changes, Joe will have to live far away from his family that includes three daughters, all under 18 years old, for the rest of his life.
Speaking of, his oldest, Gia, 17, previously tweeted about her dad’s situation, saying: ‘He puts everyone before himself. I know how my dad is and I believe many of you do too. My father did his time, and he learned from his own mistakes. Isn’t being in there [prison] supposed to make you realize your mistakes so you can then become a better person? And that is exactly what my father did.’
‘We have so many plans as a family when he gets out. I need my father to be here. My father belongs with his entire family. My father came to this country when he was one year old, the United States is the only country that he knows, spread the word #bringjoehome,’ she went on to say in her touching message.
