Tekashi69, who was sent to prison earlier in the week , has reportedly been moved out of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to a federal institution. According to Billboard, the prison to which he has been moved is for the incarcerated who cooperate with the police.

On the 21st of November, TMZ reported that he moved out of the prison, citing sources from inside the new facility. However, his attorney-at-law, Lanze Lazzaro, said he was moved out of the general population center of the MDC due to "security reasons," notably, threats from gang members.

On the 18th of November, Tekashi was arrested by the Federal ATF and Homeland Security personnel on six counts of racketeering, assault with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, and firearms charges.

According to the Courthouse News Service, Danny Hernandez was denied bail by US Magistrate Judge Henry Pitman, following his lawyer's offer of $1.7 million and his passport, just to keep him out of jail while he awaits the court's decision.

However, the court feared he was a flight risk, so it was denied. As fans of Tekashi69 know, a federal case was the young man's worst fear, as he said so himself during an interview with Charlamagne Tha God and the other hosts of The Breakfast Club.

Moreover, during the same conversation on Power's radio show, he said that he was cheated out of approximately $3.6 million . But a representative for the booking agency said his claims were a complete fabrication.

The 22-year-old rapper said that he was entitled to millions of dollars, but instead, only received several hundred thousand. Regardless, his former financial squabbles appear to be the least of his worries.

According to recently surfaced reports, Tekashi69 also allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and mother of his children approximately a week before his arrest by federal authorities.

Hernandez's actions in combination with his ability as an artist have left the hip-hop community divided. Many people support him, while others despise him for his controversial behavior.
