Tekashi 69's Former Agency Accuses Him Of Lying About Being Robbed
Yesterday, Tekashi 69 stopped by The Breakfast Club and he claimed that the reason for which he fired his team was that they were robbing him. It was recently reported that Tekashi fired everyone and canceled his shows.
In a video in which he appears to be extremely stressed out, Tekashi speaks in front of the camera and revealed that his American tour had been canceled.
Tekashi was supposed to perform in Austin, Texas yesterday but he noted that he would not be present at the show.
At The Breakfast Club, he claimed that he only received about $300,000 of an alleged $3.5 million deal and everyone who watched the interview was definitely shocked to hear such a thing.
He also said that members of his booking company who were handling the deal, MTA, also reached the point in which they threatened the life of his mom.
According to TMZ, MTA is denying Tekashi's claims.
An MTA rep said that there wasn't such a deal in the first place and they also reported that MTA along with Tr3way Entertainment was handling his travel, security, and transport.
Hot New Hip Hop reported that MTA told TMZ that they booked nine upcoming shows in the US and two more in Mexico for him. They said that Tekashi received $700,000 for the shows.
There were also five more shows in Germany for which the rapper received $160,000. It seems that MTA is reportedly considering taking legal action against Tekashi for what he accused them of.
