On Friday, Jenelle Evans spoke with E! Online about the new sensational reports that she was abused by her husband, David Eason. As it was previously reported, the Teen Mom star called 911 – in a clip obtained by TMZ.
According to the reality star, the entire incident was “merely a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding.” She added that “everything is great,” and they are “totally fine.”
Some fans online suggested she was suffering from “battered wife syndrome,” a behavioral pattern where an individual defends the person who abuses them. Another Twitter user stated the opposite, accusing the media of “misreporting and sensationalizing things.”
Regardless, the clip obtained by the gossip publication was very incriminating and hard to misinterpret. On Friday, TMZ got their hands on an audio recording where Evans claimed, while crying hysterically, that her husband became infuriated after drinking and pinned her down so hard on the ground that her collarbone cracked.
Jenelle supposedly had to go to the hospital in a private vehicle, after canceling the ambulance that was on its way.
When the 911 operator asked Evans about her husband and whether he was dangerous, she said he had been drinking, and that she couldn’t feel her arm because of the pain.
Evans went on to say that she had four kids in the household, and they were all sleeping. “I don’t know what to do,” the reality star remarked. The operator then asked Jenelle to stay away from her husband and asked her if he had access to weapons.
When the police arrived, Jenelle told them she didn’t want to file a police report or press charges. Eason hasn’t addressed the reports yet, but he later shared a photo of them together along with the caption, “we have never been happier, thanks for asking!”
