‘Teen Mom OG’ Amber Portwood Is Not Questioning The Paternity Of Her Baby, Despite What He Ex Claims

Ever since Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood split from her fiancé Matt Baier, and quickly started dating Andrew Glennon, and then made a surprise pregnancy announcement, fans have been speculating over the paternity of her unborn son. She has claimed that her baby belongs to Glennon, but could Baier be the father?
The paternity scandal exploded on the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG, because Portwood’s ex, Gary Shirley, questioned if Glennon was the real baby daddy.
Shirley, who shares 8-year-old daughter Leah with Portwood, voiced his concerns to his wife, Kristina Anderson, about the two having a baby after dating for just a few weeks.
“It had to be within a week of them hanging out,” he said when Portwood got pregnant. “Hopefully it’s not Matt’s!”
Anderson fueled speculation by responding that she thinks there was a break between Baier and Glennon, but she wasn’t for sure.
Shirley then questioned how long Glennon and Portwood’s romance would last, saying that they haven’t even been together long enough to know if they like each other. He then said he hopes Portwood knows what she is getting into.
Shirley’s concerns seem to be coming from a place of concern, but not validity. Portwood and Glennon have never openly questioned the paternity of their baby and, in fact, on the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG argued about how to manage the pregnancy and gender reveal.
She wanted to know so she could prepare, adding that if it is a boy that stresses her out because she has never had a boy and there is stuff you have to do before you have a baby.
But, when Glennon suggested “gender neutral” items, Portwood flipped out. She told him that he didn’t understand and it is easier to know the baby’s gender. She then told Glennon she was “pissed off.”
She continued by telling Glennon that what she wants to do should be what happens because “it’s coming out of my vagina,” and she doesn’t want to have to deal with petty nonsense that has nothing to do with the baby’s life.
He decided to end the argument by telling Portwood that if not finding out the baby’s gender adds stress, then she needs to find out as soon as possible.
Portwood met Glennon while she filmed the latest season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition with Baier. Glennon was part of the production staff of the show, and Portwood claims that she broke up with Baier before they started filming due to alleged physical abuse.
Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition premieres in March on WEtv.
