Briana De Jesus has been getting a lot of hate after she mocked the suicide forest video Logan Paul has been under hot water over! The YouTuber got huge backlash for exploiting a recent suicide victim he stumbled upon so you’d think that the Teen Mom star would avoid making such disrespectful comments just a few days after the scandal!
However, she either thinks there’s no such thing as negative publicity, or she is just that twisted because she posted: ‘My sister made me watch a video of a bunch of boys going into the Suicide Forest to explore and Wow men are pussies lmao.’
Her tweet was also followed by many weepy crying emojis, meant to pretty much make fun of all the people that were offended by the video.
But that’s not all! Briana also said that she wants to go visit the infamous Japanese Suicide Forest in May after first getting a Groupon deal.
She joked about what would be the items she’d need to bring along on the trip as well!
Fans of Teen Mom were quick to slam her for treating a place of solemnity and tragedy like it’s a fun tourist destination, such as Disneyland.
‘This is no fun hunted house. It is a place where ppl go and commit suicide. If you’re gonna go, go to pray. Pay respect, or for awareness. This is far from a tourist attraction. I like you, but this is not right,’ one fan told her off.
‘Seriously I think you should stop and consider how you’d feel if this was one of your family members who’d gone to this forest to end their life. It is not a tourist attraction,’ another wrote.
Later on, Briana addressed the controversy, stating that: ‘It was not the Logan video. I said a bunch of men… Logan had females with him too lol.’
Despite her explanation, she still received backlash for backtracking.
Some even contacted MTV, begging the network to fire her but Briana continued to defend her decision to go visit the forest.
‘I know what the Forest is known for, but there is also beautiful scenery out there and tons of ice caves. My uncle committed suicide so I’ve had my fair share also it is life, things happen like that every day. I will never disrespect.’
