Taylor Swift was highly criticized for being ‘naked’ in her newly-released music video for ‘…Ready for It?’ when she’s actually not. Following the controversy, she responded to the critics via Instagram Stories on October 27.
Taylor posted a series of photos of herself wearing a nude bodysuit, which she also wore in the video.
One of the pictures is a selfie in which she is looking innocently at the camera as she touched her chin.
She captioned it, ‘It truly warms my heart that people had so much to say about this bodysuit.’
Taylor has sparked controversy after releasing her music video on October 26. In it, she plays a cyborg character, and she is wearing a nude bodysuit that makes her appear naked.
It seems some people thought that she was really naked and started shaming her.
A Twitter user wrote, ‘Taylor Swift naked in her video. She’s not a good role model. My daughter Jennifer came home crying; we are burning our reputation tour tickets.’
Another user also expressed his/her anger, saying that people were not fair to Miley Cyrus, who bared herself in ‘Wrecking Ball’ music video.

‘America’s sweetheart a.k.a Taylor Swift naked is saving the world while Miley is just a s**t asking for attention. I hate double standards..!!’
Her bodysuit was not the only thing that people talked about.
Taylor’s fans quickly pointed out that the clip was a shout-out to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn as they spotted the numbers 89 and 91 written on the wall.
They suggested that the numbers referred to Taylor and Joe’s birth years, which are 1989 and 1991. They also noticed a Chinese calligraphy that read Joseph, and they speculated that it referred to Joe instead of the clip director, Joseph Khan.
