According to a report from Us Magazine, Taylor Swift recently unveiled a new song and fans are wholly convinced that she’s looking to get married to her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, due to the lyrics of her latest track. Taylor recently revealed some more details regarding her upcoming record, Lover.
During an interview with Vogue, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter offered up some lyrics from one of her songs in the issue published on the 8th of August, Thursday. Check out the lyrics here:
My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue. All’s well that ends well, to end up with you. 💙 pic.twitter.com/CECesxb8do

The lyrics appear to allude to a traditional bride wearing something old and blue. Fans of Taylor’s love to mine through her lyrics to discover golden nuggets about what’s going on in her life. The singer frequently interacts with fans on Tumblr.
One person on Twitter, in reference to the lyrics from her song, stated that Taylor confirmed she’s now engaged to Joe Alwyn. Another Twitter follower joked that it was almost like if Taylor was engaged, then all of her fans are as well.
As it was previously reported, Joe and Taylor were first linked back in May of 2017. An insider who spoke with Us Weekly claimed Taylor is talking to those in her closest social circle about how she wants to marry him.
Another source stated to the outlet in past interviews that Taylor is entirely convinced that she wants to marry Mr. Alwyn. Swift apparently doesn’t feel it’s necessary to try and impress anyone at this stage in her life.
This comes after Taylor was involved in a publicized, albeit very brief, feud with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta. Scooter is known for being one of the biggest managers in the entertainment industry. Scott is the owner of Big Machine Records, and Mr. Borchetta sold the rights to Taylor’s back catalog to Mr. Braun.
Taylor took to her Tumblr when she found out the news and stated it was an underhanded tactic that both men engaged in an attempt to control her person as well as her legacy. However, sources who spoke with Page Six claimed Swift never even tried to obtain the rights to her master recordings.
