Tara Reid May Get Role In New Tiger King Movie
According to multiple reports, the Sharknado actress, Tara Reid, may get a shot at the upcoming movie on the notorious Tiger King. Page Six reported earlier today that the actress is currently in talks for securing a part in the new movie based on Joe Exotic, who became incredibly popular after the airing of Netflix's docu-series.
During a conversation with the New York Post, Philippe Ashfield, Reid's manager, stated they were currently discussing her potential involvement in the movie. He added, "that is all I can say at the moment as casting is on hold."
However, Ashfield did add that Tara is a huge fan of Tiger King and found the documentary incredibly interesting. Moreover, Ashfield said that Tara thinks she could easily portray Carole Baskin and even kind of has the same look.
At the moment, Tiger King is getting the same treatment from a number of studios, including a production starring Nicolas Cage as Joe Exotic. Either way, fans of Reid can rejoice in the fact that she has seen a career resurgence in recent years.
Earlier this year, she was slated to appear in the comedy, Tom, Dick, and Harry, alongside Vivica A. Fox, but it has since been put on hold on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tara has appeared in the media headlines for other reasons over the last two years as well.
For instance, back in 2018, Todd Malm reported that Tara was asked to get off a Delta Airline flight because she couldn't ride with her dog . The 42-year-old spoke with Extra after TMZ got their hands on footage of the Sharknado star leaving a plane.
Tara said to reporters that they refused to let her dog sit next to her, so she chose to get on a different plane instead. Reid went on to say that it wasn't a huge deal at all, but it quickly became an issue for people on board.
Moreover, Tara claimed she has grown accustomed to this sort of scandal because the media likes to find ways of picking on her.
