It was recently reported that during the past Sunday afternoon performance in Washington at the Warner Theatre of Redemption of a Dogg play, Tamar Braxton caused a fuss behind the scenes.
The initial sign that something was wrong was that during the break of the show, Tamar went MIA.
The break reportedly took a lot longer than expected; it took almost an hour, and the audience was told that the reason for such an extended break involves some tech-related difficulties.
‘But when the show resumed, another actress was playing Braxton’s lead role, an angel who guides Snoop’s character as he navigates the rocky shores of fame, family and faith,’ IOL revealed.
Now, the Daily Mail comes to shed some light on the subject. They report that Tamar refused to return for her second act performance in the play.
They wrote that Tamar ‘ditched her cast and ‘stormed out’ at intermission after she did not get her food delivery, a source revealed.’
When the show resumed, Tamar’s part was played by someone else.
The play’s writer and director came on stage and when people yelled where is Tamar, here’s what he replied according to Daily Mail:
”Please, it’s important that we pray for her, this is a very vulnerable time so please just pray for her. She’s sorry she couldn’t be here for this curtain call, but she did get a chance to be here for you, and she did the best she could.’
An insider reportedly told DailyMailTV that ‘Braxton didn’t have any type of emergency at all, and instead had thrown a huge fit backstage over a misunderstanding regarding a food delivery before abandoning her co-stars and quitting the show during intermission.’
Daily Mail continued and reported that Tamar ‘had arranged for a friend in D.C. to bring her some food during intermission but had not made security aware.’
When Tamar got off the stage during the break, she learned that her friend was denied entry, so she became ‘hysterical and out of control,’ and she left, noted Daily Mail.
