That's not to say that the celeb did not get emotional while discussing her suicide attempt on Taraji P. Henson‘s Peace of Mind Facebook Watch talk show today.

The episode she was on was appropriately titled 'Surviving Mental Breakdowns' and Tamar had a lot of insight.

One of the details she revealed was that her son 'was the reason I made that decision,' before going on to explain that 'I just felt like he deserved better, felt like I was embarrassing him, just being a fool on TV.'

Taraji then wondered if she thought the boy would be better without his mom by his side growing up, prompting Tamar to explain that 'In that moment, because I knew that was not what my whole life truly was, it’s not who I was. I did not want him to be embarrassed in front of his friends…his foul-mouthed, ghetto Mama.'

During the same interview, Taraji's BFF and co-host of the show, Tracie Jade, also asked Tamar to mention the one moment she felt the most like she was losing control over her own life.

The guest replied that 'The first time I knew things wasn’t normal, was when everything went down with The Real. I was in my bedroom, it was completely dark.'

She was, of course, referring to her controversial exit from the show back in 2016.

Tamar then opened up about her darkest time and how it manifested for her, saying that 'You don’t shower, you do not eat, you don’t know what day of the week it is or what time… You don’t care.'
