From enemies to tour mates again. After squashing their beef on ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ Tamar Braxton is joining Kandi Burruss’ Welcome to the Dungeon tour on select dates.
The singer announced it in an Instagram post on Tuesday by uploading a photo of the flyer alongside a caption that read: “Catch me performing LIVE this summer with my girl @kandi at the Welcome To The Dungeon Show. It’s going to be a show to remember, meet me at the Dungeon in your city!”
This comes after the two spoke about why Tamar felt disrespected by Kandi and her group mates on the Great Xscape tour that she was a part of. After having the healing moment that went viral, the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star told Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that they are on friendly terms.
“Oh my god, like Y’all don’t know, we needed this, we really did. I didn’t even realize we’ve known each other for 20 years, and we’ve never been like this. And that’s crazy to know somebody that long and you can’t really depend on each other, you know? And so that first week, I was like, ‘Oh, this is about to be terrible.’ But then some kind of way we turned it around, and we really supported each other, and I’m so thankful for it.”
Kandi is taking her uber-successful dungeon show that was displayed on ‘RHOA’ on the road for thousands of her fans to get to experience it.
The burlesque-themed party stems from the fact that Burruss wanted to make lemonade out of lemons.
After being accused of plotting to drug and sexually assault her co-star Porsha Williams in her rumored ‘sex dungeon’ by Phaedra Parks, Kandi found herself in a dark place. Although Porsha and the songwriter have worked on repairing their relationship — there is no chance that she and Phaedra will do the same.
Out of that situation, the Dungeon party idea was born and is slated to be a very successful venture for Kandi.
