There’s no doubt that rapper T.I and his wife, Tiny Harris, have had their fair share of controversial and rocky moments during their long and relatively successful marriage.
During a new episode of Family Hustle, the rapper, who recently released a song featuring a Melania Trump-doppelganger, spoke on one of his biggest problems with this last controversy.
On VH1’s series featuring the two reality stars, T.I opened up about the infamous and incriminating footage on social media which appeared to show the rapper getting comfortable other women.
“I know that you’re upset, but not with me,” the rapper began, before going on to say that Tiny was actually more unhappy with the people out there who constantly call and bother her.
The artist responded, “no, I’m upset with you,” and told her husband that people wouldn’t be calling her if it wasn’t for T.I’s behavior. T.I said that the real problem with the video is not its contents, but the way in which it was posted to social media.
T.I. claims had the video been shared with her privately, it never would’ve been a problem. They would’ve talked about it, and then it would’ve all been over right there.
Additionally, the rapper spoke on the way in which society has changed since the dawn of social media. Formerly, it was all about T.I and his wife, but now with social media, everybody knows about every detail in their life at all times.
Some fans online joked that if he’s going to complain about something like that, maybe he should stop filming a reality TV series. “It seems counter-intuitive to say the least,” a social media user remarked.
Concluding his diatribe, T.I said he doesn’t care about what the anonymous masses think and feel. He only cares about the opinions and feelings of his wife.
