Sundy Carter accused a man of drugging and sexually assaulting her and it looks like she’s on her way to getting justice in a court of law. The star of Basketball Wives accused Demetrius Green of egregious sexual misconduct, and the police arrested him on revenge porn charges.
In a report from The Blast, Carter filed a police report in August of this year with the LAPD, as well as with the police in Philadelphia, where he was subsequently arrested.
Green uploaded the video he filmed of their sexual interaction – without her consent – on social media. Police took him into custody on the 21st of September.
The authorities charged him with harassment, the distribution of a personal images, possession of an instrument of crime with intent to employ it criminally.
Mr. Green’s charges, however, are mere misdemeanors. Sources close to the reality star wholeheartedly believe that Sundy was assaulted, but the DA couldn’t find enough evidence to charge him with the crime.
They gave him a $2,500 bail and he was released shortly after his arrest. Carter isn’t the only woman to deal with this sort of harassment in recent years.
Mischa Barton, formerly the star of The OC, took her ex-boyfriend to court over revenge porn charges. The man in question secretly filmed their sexual encounter and the man shopped it around to local adult film studios.
Previously, Mischa stated that her friends informed her of what he was trying to do. Hollywood is a small place, and word gets around when someone is engaging in questionable behavior.
Another celebrity to deal with revenge porn is Blac Chyna, who took Rob Kardashian to court because he disseminated explicit images and videos of her on Instagram.
