Season 3 of Stranger Things is officially on the way. Netflix just released the episode titles for the upcoming season and confirmed that the show will premiere sometime in 2019.
The streaming service did not reveal too many details about what’s ahead, but the titles do offer a hint at where things are going.
The new teaser trailer, which does not include any new footage, listed the titles as: “Suzie, Do You Copy?,” “The Mall Rats,” “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard,” “The Sauna Test,” “The Source,” “The Birthday,” “The Bite,” and “The Battle of Starcourt.”

The clip ended with the tagline for the new season: “In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Netflix’s programming chief, Cindy Holland, confirmed that Stranger Things will return in the summer of 2019. Holland also teased that the Duffer Brothers are ready to take things to the next level in Season 3.
This includes a bigger budget for special effects, which takes time to edit and produce. Although fans will have to wait a little longer for next season, Holland promised the wait is well worth it.
This is good news for fans who thought Season 2 was a bit of a letdown.
Netflix, meanwhile, released a short teaser trailer back in July that introduced a new mall for the city of Hawkins, Indiana. The throwback clip concentrates mostly on the new shopping outlet, but it does show a few familiar faces at the end.
The mall trailer coincides with the title of the last episode, which teases that a major battle will take place at the venue.

The episode titled “Mall Rats” also offers a hint at a potential storyline. The name is a reference to the movie of the same title, which is about two guys who hang out at the mall after losing their girls.
Does this mean a major breakup is ahead?
The first episode, titled “Suzie, Do You Copy,” also teases the introduction of a new character. The first two seasons of the show do not include anyone named Suzie, though only time will tell if this is a new character or not.
Season 3 of Stranger Things will drop in the summer of 2019.
