Stars Of Real Housewives Attend Bobby Zarin’s Funeral

Danielle Staub, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Bensimon, and many other Bravo TV stars were at the funeral of the late Bobby Zarin, the husband of the former cast member, Jill Zarin. John Mahdessian and Dorinda Medley from the Real Housewives of New York came as well, and so did Patti Stranger from The Millionaire Matchmaker.
Jill held the funeral at the Riverside Memorial Chapel in New York along with her daughter, Ally Shapiro, 25. Jill and Bobby had other children including David Carin, Jennifer Zarin, and Jonathan who are 41, 38, and 35 respectively.
Reportedly, Bobby died after struggling with cancer. In a touching tribute to her now-deceased spouse, Jill said: “words can not express the hole in my heart.”
An insider at the funeral said, “Jill was incredibly upset during the ceremony but managed to keep her composure. Her speech in commemoration of him was amazing. It’s really sad to see Bobby go, but that’s life. People pass away sometimes.”
According to E! News, Jill will raise money and awareness for the International Thyroid Oncology Group so that someone who suffers the disease like Bobby will be able to fight it with a better chance.
Several other Bravo TV stars expressed their grief to reporters from E! Online including Ramona Singer from Real Housewives Of New York. She said, “he’s in a better place now.”
Sonja Morgan, a fellow cast member, revealed Bobby was a “cornerstone” of the family, and she is incredibly sad and devastated that he’s not there anymore.
Andy Cohen, one of the executives of Bravo TV as well as the host of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen said he “always enjoyed Bobby Zarin’s calm and cool presence” and his steady hand. The exec claims Bobby was a man of tranquility.
