Southern Charm star Patricia Altschul is firing back at Ashley Jacobs’ claims regarding her exit from the hit reality show. This week, Jacobs announced that she is not returning to Southern Charm and made it sound like it was her decision to leave. Instead of letting Jacobs’ claims go unchallenged, Altschul clapped back with a clever response of her own.
“After a lot of prayerful consideration,” Jacobs wrote. “I have decided not to return to Southern Charm next season.
The legendary Altschul answered Jacobs’ post with a hilarious parody. ““After prayerful consideration,” Altschul told her followers on Twitter. “I’ve decided to decline the Nobel Peace Prize and the swimsuit cover of Sports Illustrated.”

Regardless of what Jacobs contends, Altschul clearly believes producers never invited Jacobs back in the first place. Jacobs, of course, only appeared on Southern Charm as Thomas Ravenel’s girlfriend and was never a regular cast member.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, her only paid appearance came during the season reunion. With Ravenel ousted following his sexual assault scandal, it makes sense that producers would give Jacobs the boot as well.
Fans reacted positively to Altschul’s post and many thought it was a clever way to throw some shade at Jacobs. A few fans thought she was taking things too far, but it is hard to deny a good zinger when you see one.
Jacobs did not respond to Altschul’s comment. Her post did go into a little more detail about why she left the series. Jacobs says that she did not want to jeopardize her family or career by appearing on the show, even if it meant sharing her version of the story.

Given what Ravenel is facing, it is probably a good thing that Jacobs cuts her losses and moves on with her life. The disgraced Southern Charm star is scheduled to go to trial to face charges of second-degree assault and battery.
The accusations stem from an incident involving Ravenel’s former nanny, who claims he tried to sexually assault her. In light of the criminal charges, Ravenel will no longer be a part of the show.
Bravo has not commented on Ashley Jacobs’ departure from Southern Charm, but Patricia Altschul told fans on twitter that even if Jacobs wanted to return, no one would film with her.
