Despite her tumultuous year, Ashley Jacobs isn’t willing to let any drama at all get between her and having a good time. This past weekend, the Southern Charm star got together with her mother and shared a series of social media posts picturing her celebration of 34-years on this earth.
As it was previously reported, Thomas and Ashley broke it off following the sexual assault allegations against him involving Debbie Holloway Perkins and her daughter, Ashley Perkins, who was the one to first make the allegations public.
While wearing an antler headband, Ashley captioned her Instagram Story with the words, “It’s my birthday and if I want to be a reindeer I can!” When she blew out the candles, Perkins said, “Hope 34 is a lot better than 33!”
Things all went sour with Thomas Ravenel, 56, earlier this year. The pair finally called it off in August after more than a year of coupling. Regardless, Ashley and her mother appeared to enjoy their evening together, with Ashley thanking her mother for all of the good things in life.
Several weeks before her birthday, Ravenel took to social media to slam his ex-girlfriend in an Instagram post that has now been deleted. The remarks came about when Ashley made rude comments regarding Kathryn Dennis whom Thomas has two kids with, Kensie and Saint, who are 4 and 3 respectively.
Mr. Ravenel said in his Instagram post that he “totally disavows” such behavior and would refuse to have anything to do with it all. E! Online was the one to report the Instagram message.
Thankfully, Ashley and Thomas half-heartedly worked it out on social media and spoke of all the things they endured over the past year. Thomas praised Ashley in a later post, saying that he really enjoyed being her boyfriend despite all of the things that happened.
Things really went sour for Thomas back in September when the police arrested him for charges relating to assault and battery regarding his old nanny in an incident occurring in 2015.
Bravo TV later confirmed that he would no longer appear on the television show; Thomas was too much of a risk and liability for the company to continue having him on Southern Charm.
