Producers of Southern Charm recently handed out raises to some members of the cast, and the ones who didn’t get an increase in pay are not happy. According to a new report, Southern Charm’s comic relief duo — Cameran Eubanks and Shep Rose — each received a big bump in salary, but no one else did.
“Before this everyone was making the same amount, $25,000 an episode, which came out to $425,000 for the last season. But after the drama of last season Cameran and Shep each got a huge raise,” reveals an insider.
The source added that Eubanks and Rose make the show what it is and are extremely popular. So, that resulted in Bravo giving them a raise. However, neither of them were supposed to talk about their pay increase, but somehow the rest of the cast found out, and they are all extremely mad.

This just came up on my Facebook memories. Brought a smile to my face. Season 2. Right before the fashion show. @caconover was about to go full Zoolander. This was also Craig’s toothpick and tank top phase that has mercifully been curtailed. Love all these people lots! #wildride
Radar Online is reporting that everyone in the cast thought that they would receive the same pay, but the reality is that they are all independent contractors and there is no requirement for equal pay.
Southern Charm was scheduled to begin filming last month, but Hurricane Florence caused a slight delay. Eubanks and Rose negotiated their raises before filming next season, but Kathryn Dennis, Craig Conover, Patricia Altschul, Naomie Olindo, Austen Kroll, and Chelsea Meissner are still at the $25,000 per episode rate.
The insider says that this could cause a revolt on the Bravo show because the lower paid cast members are angry about the raises. Especially since producers fired Thomas Ravenel, and that move freed up some money.
Bravo fired Ravenel last week after his arrest for 2nd-degree assault and battery charges. His co-stars support the network’s decision, and they all look forward to filming without him during Season 6. An insider says that they are relieved they don’t have to deal with Ravenel anymore. Even though he was a friend at first, his layers of lies and manipulation over the years caused problems, and the allegations from the nanny were the last straw.

Love love love seeing my friends @pataltschul and @camwimberly1 on this fine Tuesday evening. I made the shirt I’m wearing for @shepgear in honor of Michael the butler and Patricia (Scroll to see him posing with us. What a legend!) Hope y’all like it! Part of the proceeds going to @charlestonanimalsociety as per Patricia’s request. Cheers ? ? Patricia wants to remind everyone about her outrageously cool Caftan that she’s wearing @patriciascouture
The allegations against Ravenel disgusted the female cast members, and they have been keeping their distance from the former South Carolina state treasurer because they believe he is toxic. Now, they are happy to be free of that.
Sources say that none of the main Southern Charm cast members are friends with Ravenel anymore, and they are all disgusted with how he treated Dennis, not to mention the allegations of sexual assault.
New episodes of Southern Charm will return to Bravo in 2019.
