Donald Trump got some backlash, once again, this time after calling the continent of Europe a ‘country’ during his final presidential debate yesterday. As you can imagine, many took to the comment section to criticize and mock him, including none other than Sophie Turner!
The Game of Thrones actress is obviously not a supporter of the current president and she made that very clear when dragging Trump for his mistake, on social media.
The way the HBO star shared her thoughts on what the Donald had said, was simply by posting a picture of her face, mid-laughter, on her IG Stories.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: ‘He called Europe a country,’ making it obvious why she looked so amused in the photo.
It all started with a question about working with other countries out there to effectively deal with the international COVID-19 pandemic during his final debate against the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden.
In response, Trump argued, confidently, that ‘We also have others that we’re working on very closely with, other countries, in particular Europe.’
It did not take long at all before people started noticing and calling him out.
Here are a couple of tweets about it: ‘Who’s gonna tell @realDonaldTrump that Europe isn’t a country?’ / ‘Started the debate from the beginning and Donald Trump just referred to Europe as a country [laughing emoji] if it wasn’t real life it would be absolutely hilarious.’

And that was not even the only alarming statement the current POTUS made during the final presidential debate.
He also went as far as to argue that the 545 immigrant children separated from their families at the Mexico border and who are still to be returned to their parents are ‘SO well taken care of!’
The administration seemingly never thought, or cared, to at least keep tabs on the families and now, the children’s parents are yet to be found so that they can finally reunite.
