Actress Sofia Vergara of Modern Family fame and her husband, actor Joe Manganiello, are one of the most stunningly good looking couples in Hollywood. Which is actually a tough feat when virtually the entirety of Hollywood is drop dead gorgeous. Vergara recently celebrated her birthday and the 46th-year-old made sure she did it in style.
She made quite the statement by completely matching her birthday cake.
The actress wore a strapless white dress with gold polka dots and her cake was an exact replica of the dress.
Take about seeing double!
The reason for this choice is due to the actresses love of cake. She typically chooses a birthday cake that is ornate and interesting for each subsequent birthday celebration.
During her birthday gathering that was held in Los Angeles at Wolf restaurant on Tuesday, June 10th, she was surrounded by family and friends who sang her ‘Happy Birthday.’
The cake was adorned with two sparklers that the beauty pretended to blow out.
Last year, she had a round cake with a picture of her face as the top layer. The year before that she had a three-tiered lemon cake with edible flowers as she had an entire lemon themed party.
Cake is her favorite dessert and she also loves the artistry of the baked good so she’s become known for extravagant birthday gatherings where the cake is always something interesting and fun.
What’s so impressive about this cake is that it does look exactly like the dress she’s wearing. The drapping, the gold polka dots, the attention to detail, all make the cake look identical to the dress she’s wearing.
The only shame is that now we have to wait a whole year to find out what her next birthday cake is going to look like. If the last three years are any indication, it will be quite sweet.
